Our time on Earth is limited, and we have a responsibility to live with joy and intention. This shapes how we spend our time: relishing our relationships, learning through our struggles, and protecting our core. It also guides how we pursue our professional ambitions and the good our work creates.

I’ve spent 25 years as an executive director, board member, manager, operator, and coach. I’ve built and advised dozens of social enterprise startups, launched entrepreneurship and workforce development programs, and raised millions of dollars from foundations and government partners. I bring a racial equity lens to my work.

Before moving full-time to coaching and consulting, I worked at the intersection of social good, business, and entrepreneurship. Most recently, I was Executive Director of New Majority Capital Foundation, the nonprofit arm of an impact investing firm committed to closing the wealth gap through small business acquisition. Before that, as Head of Impact at Company Ventures, a NYC-based VC fund, I created a coaching curriculum to help tech founders codify their values and purpose, and built a citywide workforce development program. Earlier, as Executive Director of the Zahn Innovation Center at The City College of New York (CUNY), I ran the campus entrepreneurship program and led the startup curriculum. My career began in corporate philanthropy, marketing, and arts management.

I’m a traveler at heart. Our family spent seven months traveling and worldschooling, and early in my career I lived in rural Ecuador managing an ecolodge and learning the direct impact of responsible business.

I earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BS from Northwestern, and I’ve served on a number of advisory boards including NYCEDC’s Founder Fellowship, CUNY Tech Prep and the MPA program at the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership.
